This project explores the act and benefits of rocking while sitting within a piece of furniture that can serve the user in many different modes of activities seamlessly within today’s compact living environments.
In an effort to address the impact that furniture products have on the environment, we must consider all aspects of the design, manufacturing, shipping and long-term use scenarios in order to create a meaningful, sustainable artefact that will have value in people’s lives over long period of time.
